Visiting England is not only about London and the business industry. English culture lays out in the countryside where we can see images that don’t traditionally remind us of England but is the actual traditional lifestyle.
A sign refers :
‘Welcome to Cornwall, please try to… remove your face from your smartphone to enjoy the scenery!’
Definitely, a place to visit but it looks big enough, where should I turn?
Let’s explore some spectacular places in Cornwall that worth our visit and generously offer to us knowledge, inspiration and natural beauty, more than a trip to remember and closer to a trip that gives ideas for the future.
1.EDEN PROJECT
The hard is to get to Cornwall, but after getting there, you must not miss visiting the Eden project (27.5£ adult ticket).

In a few words, this is a home to almost all of the Earth’s flora. Including 2 giant environment simulators – a tropical rainforest Biome and a Meditteranean Biome – in addition to the outdoors, there is almost no plant or tree missing(Baobab is missing but I think it is excused considering its size). See and share the idea of how naturalists visualize a future that is connected and balanced to our Earth, how we protect and reproduce flora. How flora protects us as well. How a fruit or a seed or a spice can create large human industries with massive financial impact around the globe. Did you know that rice is the nourishment that has fed the most of the hungry stomachs in human history?
2.PORTH CURNO

Arriving there, there is a sign that mentions:
‘ ..some people say that Porth Curno might be the most beautiful beach in the whole world…’.
I am one of those people now. Despite the fact that the seas there, are painfully cold, the sand and sun combined with the green flora and sweet water running through the cliffs at the back, creates a rare natural phenomenon that rewards the human eye and spirit.
3.LAND’S END

I love the way British people name places… This is literally the land’s end. The last land point at the South, and West of UK before the Atlantic Sea meets the dangerous cliffs that have been retirement home for many ships in the past. As a local citizen of Penzance described to me, back in the days, when extreme weather conditions existed, the winds were pushing the ships to the cliffs. The entrance to the English channel creates a powerful wind with North East direction from Atlantic ocean into the channel and onto the cliffs. Hard job to be a pirate.
4.St.IVES

This is the place to visit and get back to social life. Coffee time by the beach. Pastries everywhere, and happy tourists getting their suntan or their swim in the cold sea. (I would only swim in a wetsuit and I highly recommend it). Souvenir shops offer a variety of artworks that look really amazing and worth the investment. Cornwall’s people are friendly and willing to chat. The tide goes up and down two times a day so sometimes the sea looks ’empty’ sometimes super full.
5.PENZANCE

A beautiful and mysterious town, home of the famous Pirates of Penzance. That says a lot… The incredible St.Michael’s Mount adorns the sea and is a majestic view from any part of this little city. Nice place to relax on your trip. Visit the traditionally maintained pubs and restaurants that, honestly, will satisfy you more than expected. Grab a local drink and make yourself at home. It is also a good place for outdoor sports activities.
6.PRAA SANDS

Another stunning place like the general picture of Cornwall. Clearly, the place to go swimming and enjoy what a beach can offer to your hungry mind.
Easy to access, by the town, many amenities for your joy. Don’t forget your wetsuit unless you are a polar bear.
7.KYNANCE COVE
A spectacular Cove

that is a must go and spend some time. It gives the general picture of Cornwall. A dramatic expression of how land finds the border with the sea. Unique colours in an inspiring environment. Nature is the best artist here. We can drink our hot or cold drink somewhere by the sea, the hill or the little shop that lays somewhere there and just enjoy the landscape and let the fairies inspire our spirits.
These are some of my recommendations, however, there are many more places that I have visited or not that can be more or less beautiful or interesting according to everyone’s point of view. Penwith, Penrose, St. Austell, Charlestown, PorthWarna, and many many many more places to explore in Cornwall. Definitely a place of mystery and natural beauty.Futuristic projects combined with traditional ideas. Friendly people and stunning natural beauty happiness of the photoshoot.Good food and drinks!!!
Pirates and ghost stories..!
Thank you, Cornwall.
